Transformers 4 To Be Like Ending of DOTM

Insiders on the production of TF4 are saying that the 4th installment of the franchise will include more action and less humor. This sounds a bit familiar doesn't it? I recall Michael Bay stating something closely related to this during the production of TF3 but only time will tell. Badass Digest wrote up an article stating:
"A source close to the production of Transformers 4 has cleared up some elements about the film. While the term 're-imagining' was thrown around, the fourth film will be a straight up sequel to the last movie. It just won't be told through Witwicky's point of view. As to whose point of view it will be told through, that's unclear right now, but it's also unclear which - if any - human characters will be back.

"Michael realized it needs to be more like the last hour [of Dark of the Moon]," this source told me. So expect lots of big action, lots of carnage, lots of military badasses, very few silly bits."
So let's wait and see. Hopefully this time around we will get more screen time for the robots rather than humans. Of course character development would also need to be there but since we are talking about Transformers, it's about having fun at the movies!

Please take note that none of this is officially confirmed but rather a speculation. Ideas are still being developed but the story will most likely not start until late 2012.
